Eligibility Details:
Name of the post:
1. Post graduate teacher (PGT)
2. Trained graduate teacher (TGT)
3. Primary teacher (PRT)
No of vacancies: A total of 7000 Vacancies exists.
Educational qualification:
1. For Post graduate teacher (PGT): Candidate should have passed Post Graduation (50% marks) & B.Ed (50% marks)
2. For Trained graduate teacher (TGT): Candidate should have passed Graduation (50% marks) & B.Ed (50% marks)
3. For Primary teacher (PRT): Candidate should have passed Graduation (50% marks) & B.Ed (50% marks)
Age Limit:
Fresh candidates age should be below 40 years as on 01-04-2014, except for Delhi schools where TGT/PRT should be < 29 yrs and PGT < 35 years. Experienced candidates age should be below 57 years as on 01-04-2014.(candidates should have minimum 5 years teaching experience in the last 10 years)
Selection Process: Selection of candidates will be done in two stages:-
(a) Stage 1: Screening Exam, conducted on the Second Sunday of every year, for vacancies that will arise during the ensuing academic year.
(b) Stage II: Interview, Evaluation of Teaching skills and computer proficiency.

Examination fee :

Exam Fee is Rs.600/-(non refundable).
