Educational Qualifications for Male
Secondary School Certificate Examination or equivalent qualification.
Minimum height of 168 cms.
Chest:- Unexpanded - 80 cms and expanded - 85 cms.
Should undergo Physical Efficiency Test which will carry no marks but will be qualifying for further tests as follows: 100 metres Run in 14 seconds; Long Jump - 4.50 metres (3 chances); Shot Put (16 lbs) - 5.60 metres (3 chances); High Jump - 1.36 metres (3 chances); 800 metres Run in 2.50 minutes.
Should pass Written Examination and Oral Interview conducted by the Police Department.
Knowledge of Konkani & Marathi.

Weight not less than 45 kgs.
Should undergo Physical Efficiency Test which will carry no marks but will be qualifying for further tests as follows: 100 metres Run in 16.5 seconds; Long Jump - 3.25 metres (3 chances); Shot Put (4 kgs ) - 4.50 metres (3 chances); High Jump - 1.05 metres (3 chances); 200 metres Run in 36.0 seconds.
Should pass Written Examination and Oral Interview conducted by the Police Department.
