Educational
qualification:
For Assistant Engineer (Civil) post candidate should have passed
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or AMIE Section (A & B) India
(Civil Engineering).
For Assistant Engineer
(Mechanical) post candidate
should have passed Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or AMIE Section
(A & B) India
(Mechanical Engineering).
Age
Limit: To apply for Assistant Engineer
(Civil/Mechanical) posts candidate age should be between 18- 37 Years as on
01-01-2013. 39 years for Physically handicapped candidates, 40 years for
RBA/SC/ST/ALC/SLC category candidates, 40 years for In Service candidates, 48
years for Ex-serviceman as on 01-01-2013.
Pay
Scale : The pay scale range for this post is Rs. 9300 –
34800 & Grade Pay Rs.5200 & allowances as admissible under rules.
Selection Process: Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of Written
Screening Test & Interview.

General Category candidates need to pay fee of Rs. 500/- and Rs. 250/- for
SC/ST category candidates, cash payment through the counters of J&K Bank
opened in the offices of J&K Public Service Commission at Polo Ground,
Srinagar/Resham Ghar Colony, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm.
How to Apply : Interested candidates who fulfill the above eligibility criteria can
apply through prescribed application form. The application complete in all
respects should be photo-copied. Attested photo copies of the relevant
certificates attached with the photo copy of the Application Form and send it
to the following mentioned address on or before 15-11-2013.
